L’Antico Casolare is an exceptionally comfortable and welcoming farmhouse dating from approximately the turn of the twentieth century, suitable either for families or up to four couples. Perfectly restored by local craftsmen using original stones, beams and terracotta tiles, the house enjoys an incredible view over the surrounding landscape of Monti Sibillini National Park.
Within a short driving distance you can visit several lovely hill towns with ancient stone walls and beautiful churches such as San Ginesio (one of the most beautiful hill towns of Le Marche), Colmurano and Urbisaglia.
Outside guest will find a herb garden, an orchard and a beautiful garden with a lot of roses, flowers and plants, leading down from the entrance gates to the surrounding hedge. There is also a sun-drenched terrace furnished with a solid teak outdoor table and chairs, overlooking the glamorous swimming pool with sun lounges, deck chairs and umbrellas. At the rear of the house there is a spacious loggia (a covered terrace) from which you can enjoy an incredible view over the valleys.
Main House (6 pax)
On the ground floor there are more than one entrance, although the most commonly used one is adjacent to the car park. There is a living room with a fireplace, leather couches, a satellite-TV with surround sound system and DVD-player. Next to it you will find a spacious kitchen/dining area with an impressive chestnut dining table and a magnificent island bench made of granite and wood, where there are cook top, large oven, dishwasher, microwave together with crockery, cutlery and glassware. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom and a fully equipped laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner and laundry tub.
On the upper floor there is the large main bedroom with soaring ceiling and imposing beams, which was actually a former schoolhouse. You will be enchanted by a magnificent hand-made double bed, a comfortable leather couch and a beautiful wooden built-in wardrobe. Next to the bedroom there is the ensuite bathroom with a large shower, full bath and double basins. The second and third bedrooms each contain two single beds which can be combined to use as a double bed. There is also another bathroom with shower and bath. Each of the bedrooms enjoy a stunning view over the charming countryside.
Casetta (2 pax)
This “little house” was previously a stable and may be used completely independently if required. There are a small self-contained kitchen with small cook top, refrigerator and washing machine, but also a separate bathroom with a shower. In the living area you will find a small table, two chairs, a large wardrobe and a comfortable sofa which can be converted to an inviting double bed.
