Villa Belvedere is surrounded by fields, olive groves and walnut trees with a lovely view over the hill town of Loro Piceno. Villa Belvedere was originally a summer residence for monks during the harvests in the 17th century, then has been carefully restored, retaining all the original features such as the beamed ceilings, terracotta tiles or the huge arches of the loggia overlooking the valley mixed together with modern equipment including under-floor heating, a wood burning stove and double glazed windows.
On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen with polished granite work surfaces, fridge-freezer, double electric oven with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a large table. The kitchen opens into the sitting room with three comfortable sofas arranged around a log-burning stove and some arched windows lead to the terrace. There are also a small study off the sitting room and a toilet with handbasin.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms (one double bedroom with a modern en-suite bathroom with shower, and another double bedroom and a twin room share a beautiful family bathroom with bath and shower), that can be reached through the upper loggia, where you can enjoy a great view over the garden and the surrounding valley. There is also a child gate available.
On the second floor there are a double bedroom, a modern bathroom with shower and a further room with a single bed if needed. There is also a child gate available too.
Outside you will find a lovely garden with lavender and roses in the front of the house, just few steps from the pool with sun loungers and umbrellas on a lower terrace opposite the olive groves.
Guests can enjoy their meal, dining under the arches in the front of the house or on the larger terrace. There are two tables, each for eight people, and a further small shaded table for four people next to the pool.
A baby-cot and high chair are at guests’ disposal.
