The Fioranas Vineyard and wine estate has been run by Le Marche’s Fioranas family family for 3 generations, their love of the land and passion for making fine wine has helped them cultivate their vines and select only the best grapes for production of an optimum wine. Working by hand with the vines from the first Spring buds to the Autumn “Vendemmia” or grape harvest, they are particularly concerned with the environment and the eco system in which the vines grow and have adopted organic growing methods controlled by the Soil association.

 

PROGRAMME : You will arrive at the Medieval village of Cossignano where Paolo will meet us and discuss his life in the fascinating world of wine, he will lead us on a tasting of his best wines that have become famous at a European level for their quality and flavour, these will be accompanied by samples of some of the best locally produced foods. For lovers of fine clothes, the wine tour will be followed by a visit to the Santa Lucia Knitwear works. You will be able to see the preparation of the wool and the production of fabulous Cashmere scarves, jumpers etc and will have the opportunity to then buy them at Outlet prices.
